What I've learned

Through out my research I have learned some of the types of animals that are being poached in different areas around the world
I have learned about the kinds of weapons poachers use and what body parts they use from the animals they capture. I also learned new words like Ivory, Trinket, and Jacklighting. I learned that poaching is increasing with some animals, causing them to decrease in numbers and starting to make them extinct.
I thought choosing my product was hard, but then our, teacher Ms. Collado showed us Animoto. It's fast, easy and fun. My partner Nabiha, who I want to thank, was really helpful. She was a big part of my project.
We went on Animoto, first you click on a slide and click add text or upload a picture. When we finished our video is about 5:00 minutes long!

                   Thats what I've learned

Living and working together peacefully

We can live and work together if we can communicate. There are problems that we aren't communicating like, what Obama is doing to taxes. If we can communicate and compromise, we can solve these problems and live and work together peacefully.

Things that happen in our life, your religion, and the things your parents teach you can influence your opinions. Like Muslims, Christians, and Catholics believe God and Jesus are real but, unlike Christians and Catholics, Muslims believe Jesus never came down to earth.

Perspectives of Poaching

I have found two perspectives, the poacher's and the citizen's.

The poacher's perspective is that they don't care how much the animal suffers, they care about the profit they get from the animal.

The citizen's perspective is that they don't like how the poachers kill the animals or that they kill them at all. A Edinburgh-based scientist said " Although we don't have wild rhinos in the U.K. we have a lot of rhino specimens in museums who could be at risk from thieves as sadly the trade in rhino horn is lucrative at the moment."

I agree with the citizen's perspective because if poachers continue to kill the animals, then they will become extinct.

Why I chose animal poaching :)

I chose animal poaching because I love animals and to see them getting killed brakes my heart.I chose to research it to learn more about it and to try to help the cause. But I learned that people will not stop till they either run out of animals or they are satisfied with the money they got from illegal hunting. People are trying their best to help, but it won't stop poachers. But learning what I can it's a great way to get involved and trying to help prevent/stop poaching. And did you know the in the year 2016 rhinos are expected to go extincted! Won't you be sad if those animals were extinct? I would, that's why I will try to help. You can too!

Look how cute! You can help save this animal!
